2015 Panini Contenders

This has to proably be one of my new favorite sets that has came out.  I was excited to hear this year Panini could finally do a product where they could show the actual college jerseys. 

I think Panini did an excellent job on these cards.  They look great.  My only complaint is that they do not have the team they are currently on.  But I do like the throwback to some of the older players in there college uniform like J.J. Watt.  I really like the game day tickets also.  I think Panini took a great amount of time to make these and they look great.  I did not include the two autographs I received from the blaster but that will praobly come in another post. So in my eyes this is a great set and it is defintally a good spend of your money.  Thanks for reading!

Panini Excaliber

Today I guess ill show off a basketball pack that I bought a while back.  It was Panini Excaliber.

Its not a bad set but I do think that at $3.50 a pack is a little crazy.  It came with two nice rookie cards of Elfrid Payton and Marcus Smart who are future stars of both programs.  It also came with two inserts which were a Nobility insert of Tim Duncan and a Juggernauts insert of Chris Paul.  The remaining base cards were Jared Sullinger, Tim Hardaway Jr., Bradley Beal, and Avery Bradley.  So not a bad set by I defintally think the price on these need to go down a bit.  Thanks for reading!!!

My Single Graded Card

Hey guys hows it going today im going to keep it short and sweet. As the title says I have only one graded card.

And that's my only graded card. I got it from one of those boxes at Target that guarantee one graded card.  If your wondering why it has a scratch its because one day my blinds on my window fell down and hit and scratched it unfortunally.  Oh well at least its still a perfect 10 and its Drew Brees college card.  Thanks for reading!!!

A Couple Cards From A New Friend

Hey guys a few day ago I received a couple of cards from Night Owl Cards. (check out his blog its great!)  A while back I asked if I could have a couple of old Topps stickers he had and he said he would send them to me.  When I received the letter this

and a few other "stray Rays."  So a huge thanks to Night Owl Cards! Now I have to figure out his address because I cant read some of it.  So once I figure that out I have a card heading your way! Thanks for reading!!!

Happy Retirement Barry!

If you don't already know Barry Zito retired 2 days ago.  In 2003 he won the Cy Young Award with the Oakland A's.  He then would go on to play for the San Fran Giants.  He started the first game for the Giants in the World Series and won the game for them which would eventually set them up to win the World Series.  Barry would end up playing 13 seasons for the A's and Giants.

Congrats to Barry Zito for 13 years and happy retirement! Thanks for reading!!!

Is 2015/16 Finally A Good Year?

Alright so I open one pack of 2015 Topps Football and look what pops out.

Yep Jameis Winston rookie card.  I happy to get this because I used to watch him a lot in college.  Now my goal is to get Marcus Mariota my favorite college player from last year.  I even got to see Mariota play when he came to play against Uva which was pretty exciting.  So this year hoping for better luck then in the past.  Thanks for reading!!!

I Has A Question

Alright so I have a question for the whole collecting community.  Its a pretty simple question to.  How do you organize your cards?  For some reason I always have to reorganize my cards(probably my ocd)  I like looking at how other people do them to see if I find ideas that I like.  So how do you organize your cards? Maybe Getting Back...Whos Better?

Hey guys sorry I have been gone for so long.  Its been very tough to have any time with football and school going on.  For once I have most of the day off so I though I might do another who is better.  And today it will be two teammates. Crush David or Manny Machado?

Who Is The Better Pitcher?

Today we have two of the best pitchers in baseball.  While each of these guys have not had the best season of there years they are still some of baseballs most dominant pitchers.  Those two guys are Clayton Kershaw and Felix Hernandez.

The Greek Freak!

Yep its time to show the Greek freak. Giannis Antetokounmpo.  Probably one of the hardest names to say (and spell) in all of sports.

 

Giannis has had a pretty good career so far considering that he is only now I think 19 years old.  What makes Giannis so interesting that he is still growing and keeps becoming taller.  When he entered the league he was 6'8 and now he is about 6'11 which is pretty incredible.

The 2013 Colorful Prizms

I have to be honest 2013 Panini Prizm was one of my favorite sets.  I didn't get to collect much of it because well I kinda ran out of money which happens to most all of us.  I did fortunally get my hands on some nice color prizms tho.

I also picked up one autograph of this set from Comc.  He is kind of a personal favorite of mine.

Yep Carrick Felix.  Not many have probably heard of him but he is a player that for some odd reason like.  Well that's all I got thanks for reading!

Well I forgot to tell you bout my favorite college teams.  In all honesty I would much rather watch college football and basketball than watch the pro games.  I think that the college players care way more than the pro guys do sometimes.  Well anyways lets get back to the teams

 

Well those are my favorite teams.  Oregon, Virginia, West Virginia, Boise State, TCU, and USC.  I have a reason why I like all those teams but we are not going to go into that today.  And before I go I want to say I AM NOT A BANWAGONER, I just like to root for these teams.  Thanks for reading guys!

As from yesterday I told you all who my favorite players and teams were so I decided today that I would go ahead and post the cards of the favorites.

 That's the favorites.  And gladly they are all on my favorite teams except David Price who is unfortunally a Detroit Tiger but I heard he might be in free agency so maybe the Rays could pick him back up.  Well that's all I got thanks for reading!

Welcome To The Infamous Card Collector Blog

Well im going to be the first to say that I don't know everything about cards although I wish I did.  This blog hate it or love is going to be about sports cards..which is basically in the name.  I don't know how much I will be able to post but I am going to do my best.

I collect most to all cards.  I do prefer football over all but I am grateful for everything. My favorite player for each sports is Odell Beckham Jr (who is a pain in the butt to collect) for football, David Price for baseball, and Stephen Curry for basketball.  My favorite teams basically correspond with my favorite players which are the New York Giants, Tampa Bay Rays, and The Golden State Warriors.

I hope you all enjoy my blog and I will try to post as much as my time allows!!!
